Home time!
So stoked to be ending up at my moms in sunny Arizona this evening. *hi Ma!!*
It’s all kindof a grey area right now, but aside from a random overlap day here & there and a couple weekends during CDL school in August, I haven’t really had any “time off” since the last time I was at my moms...which I think was March. We’ve certainly not had any time off as an actual family together, so it should be a lovely few days.
We have our kitty with us...we are surprised over and over at what a decent travel cat he really is. I’ll write a bit more about our history with Orange sometime, but suffice to say it’s not been without challenges. I never really expected him to grow on me like he has, but he warms my heart big time these days with how gentle, lovey, & insanely patient he is with our kiddo. He’s good people...I’m happy he will have some room to stretch out for a few days as well.
Sooooo...another recent mind blowing discovery; while traveling in a regular vehicle, we can stop wherever we want and sightsee/explore. I feel like I’ve taken all of my freedoms as a normal, human traveler up until very recently for granted.
For example, this was super fun today!! An impromptu hike just south of Moab.
