Fort Collins
For those of you who’ve been asking, my journey to Fort Collins went great...erm, much thanks to my wonderful partner in crime who launched a full search and destroy operation for a wasp nest underneath the overhang of the truck bed. 😬
I got in late Thursday afternoon and I’m staying with my oldest, dearest childhood friend while I’m here. (Huge thanks M!) Its been fabulous to be off “the boat” as us nautical minded weirdos have been calling it. I’ve stocked up on lunches for the week, grabbed some stuff from our local storage unit, and done a lot of studying in the sun with the friendliest kitty ever. I totally miss my sunshine.
I start class tomorrow morning. I’ve done the reading and I feel mentally prepared, but I’ll feel so much better once I’m done with the notorious first day. I’ve literally been in limbo about getting my CDL for over a year now, so it will feel so amazing to just be MOVING FORWARD. *sigh* Its been quite a year, guys.
