Happy solstice! 🥶

This isn’t really new information, but it’s cold.

Like, *COLD* cold.

I read the wind chill was -61 lastnight a little east of here. 🥶😳

Giant water containers froze during our 45 minute drive home.

Me, wondering why I couldn’t moosh the fog off of my glasses after I came back inside this morning. 🤦‍♀️

This is happily unaware of the temps. 🤦‍♀️

I am originally from western Montana, and we got loads of snow out there, but two things we had out there that we don’t here are humidity, and trees (i.e. windbreaks). Sooooo, blowing snow and snow drifts are really a thing out here. Like, sometimes I feel like an oversized truck full of flour rolled over in front of me.

Check on your friends with livestock this week. Our barn kitties are snuggled in and cozy, but I’m so glad I don’t have any other outdoor critters yet.

Sunset just outside of Havre.

Stay warm and safe guys. Xoxo
