Rifle, CO

We had to shut down a few evenings ago because the pass coming into Denver was closed due to snow, so we parked at a really nice pull off by the river. However, we didn’t have any signal, so in the morning we drove 40 miles to Rifle, CO to check weather, traffic, and regroup before wrapping up our trip.

Since we had some extra time, we also got to check out a nearby trail by the Colorado River. It was a really gorgeous area.

As a side note, these chips almost exploded in our faces after experiencing a *slight* altitude change of like 8000 feet. Ooooops. 😬

Morals of the story; 1) Rifle, CO is quite beautiful. 2) Eat your chips before they explode everywhere, people. ♥️
