Northeast Utah

After picking up a load of yogurt yesterday, we were faced with a couple options; take the freeway back down through Salt Lake City and then east, or cut through the mountains on a route we’d never been on before.

The mountain route won as we’d spent a couple hours sitting in city traffic & construction already, and quite frankly, we wanted some new scenery. While there were a few times we genuinely questioned if it was *really* a truck route, we were SO glad to have taken it.

Not twisty-turny at all...😬

This was UT-30/US-89 from Logan, UT up and over Beaver Mountain and into Garden City, UT. It eventually spit us out into Laketown at the south end of Beaver Lake and just before the Wyoming border.

HIGHLY recommended if you’re looking for a pretty drive in the area. Probably even more enjoyable if you aren’t busy keeping a fully loaded, 75’ long rig between the narrow, curvy lines. I don’t know. *shrug*

Coming down off the hill into Garden City was SO beautiful.

Safe, awesome travels friends!!
